gofluo complies with the European Regulation of 25 May 2018 on data protection and privacy in the processing of personal data. Consequently, we treat your personal data with care. Your data will only be used for the following purposes: to fulfil a concluded agreement, to process an order and to send newsletters and for the purpose of advertising and/or marketing. We treat your data as confidential information and store it in an inaccessible database; your data will not be rented to or sold to third parties. Some of this data may be transferred to services involved in the payment or delivery of your products. You are responsible for keeping your login details and password secure. Your password is saved in encrypted format and gofluo is unable to view it.

 

Use of cookies

When you visit the gofluo website, your browser may save ‘cookies’ to the hard drive of your computer. A cookie is a small text file that is transmitted to the browser on your computer or mobile device by the server whenever you visit a website. Cookies cannot be used as a means of personal identification; cookies are only able to identify a machine. The following is an outline of the ways in which gofluo uses cookies.

 

The webshop

We use a cookie to allow you to save your shopping basket.

This cookie contains a unique code for each customer so that we know where to find the data for each customer in the database. No personal data is saved in these cookies. We also use cookies to autofill forms.

 

Google Analytics

gofluo uses (anonymous) visitor statistics through Google Analytics, a web analysis services provided by Google Inc. (‘Google’). Google Analytics uses ‘cookies’ to help analyse how users actually use the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) is transmitted to servers in the United States where it is saved by Google. Google uses this information to monitor how you use the website, create reports on website activity for website operators and to offer other services relating to website activity and internet use. Google may pass this information on to third parties if it is legally obliged to do so or to the extent that third parties are responsible for processing this information on behalf of Google. Collecting user data

As part of the user registration process, information including name, company name, address details, e-mail address, telephone number, bank card number and other relevant data is collected. This information is used by gofluo to identify users and to provide them with support, services, mailings, sales and marketing campaigns, invoicing, as well as to fulfil contractual obligations.

Some data may be transferred to services involved in the payment, newsletter or delivery of your products. gofluo requires these service providers to protect your personal data. Services include:

 

Mollie

gofluo uses the payment processor Mollie to process transactions. This party is contractually obliged to use the specified data solely for the purpose of payment processing.

 

SendCloud

gofluo has opted to use SendCloud as its logistics partner. The requisite (address) data shall only be used for the purpose of processing the order and shipping your packages.

 

Mailchimp

As a customer, you can choose easily, by clicking the checkbox in the checkout-page, if gofluo can use the information you provide and keep in touch with you and provide updates and newsletters. We will contact you via email.  

You can change your mind at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the footer of any email you receive from us. By clicking the checkbox in the checkout-page, you agree that we may process your information in accordance with these terms.

 

Deleting or amending your data

gofluo customers are entitled to access their contact data and let us edit, update or delete it at any time by sending an e-mail to privacy@gofluo.com, attaching a copy of your identity card to the e-mail. We shall then be able to process your request promptly. gofluo shall not retain user data for any longer than is necessary to achieve the objective for which it was collected or as required by the applicable legislation.
